The countdown to Stargaze Festival 2025 has officially begun—and whether it’s your first time joining us in the forest or you’re a seasoned Stargazer, it’s never too early to start packing for a weekend of magic, music, and full-spectrum queer joy 🌈
To help you get ready, we’ve put together the ultimate Stargaze Packing Guide—with everything you’ll need to feel comfy, radiant, and free under the stars.

🏕️ Camping Essentials
Let’s start with the basics. Whether you’re camping lakeside or staying in a rustic cabin, make sure you have:
Tent (if you’re BYO)
Sleeping bag or blankets
Sleeping pad or air mattress
Pillow (trust us, you’ll want it!)
Headlamp or flashlight + batteries
Water bottle or hydration pack
Biodegradable soap, shampoo, and toothpaste
Quick-dry towel
Reusable utensils, cup, and plate
Trash bag (leave no trace, babes!)

💫 Festival Faves
This is where you really get to play! Stargaze is a choose-your-own-adventure weekend, so pack for dance floors, forest trails, and lakeside lounging.
Outfits that make you feel powerful & playful (Think: glitter, mesh, neon, sequins, and pure YOU.)
Costumes or accessories for glow party
Swimsuit + quick-dry towel for lake dips & kayaking
Layers! It gets cool at night, so bring a cozy hoodie or jacket
Comfortable shoes for walking, dancing, and everything in between
Face gems, glitter, body paint (biodegradable preferred!)
Fanny pack or small backpack
Sunscreen + bug spray (natural is best for the lake!)

🌈 Queer Joy Extras
These aren’t “musts,” but we HIGHLY recommend them:
Pride flag, blanket, or bandana
Snacks to share with new friends
Your favorite deck of cards or oracle cards
Battery-operated fairy lights for your tent or cabin
A camera or a disposable for capturing sweet memories
Any arts and crafts supplies you would like to use, contribute, or share
Something sparkly to give away or trade ✨
💌 Final Tip: Pack for You
Stargaze is all about self-expression and freedom. Don’t overthink it. Pack what feels good, what feels like you, and what will help you feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

Why are you even mentioning "glitter" & "sequins" while camping, especially by a lake? Those are two of the most useless pollutants and should be discouraged.
