An Open Love Letter to Every Queer Person Who’s Never Felt Like They Belonged

You are not too much. You are not alone. You are so deeply wanted here.

To the one who grew up feeling like a stranger in their own skin,
To the one who was told they had to tone it down, toughen up, or blend in,
To the one who learned how to laugh at their own expense just to survive the room—
This is for you.
To the one who walked into spaces and scanned for danger instead of joy.
To the one who changed their clothes, voice, or name, just to stay safe.
To the one who dared to come out and then was left behind.
To the one who never came out, because silence felt safer.
To the one who’s still figuring it out.
To the late bloomers.
To the invisible ones.
To the “too queer for the straights, not queer enough for the gays.”
To the weirdos, the witches, the gender benders, the heart-healers, the sacred rebels.
You belong. You always have. You just needed to be somewhere that reminded you.
At Stargaze Festival, we’re not just creating an event — we’re creating a reunion for every part of you that was told it didn’t deserve a seat at the table.
A reunion for your softness, your wildness, your grief, your joy, your body, your story, your sparkle, your shadows, your art, your rage, your stillness, your magic.
This is what we’re building in the woods:
A dance floor where you can move like no one’s watching — and everyone is cheering you on.
A lakeside where you can strip down and just breathe in your body, no shame.
A workshop where someone says the thing you’ve never dared to say out loud — and it echoes in your soul.
A late-night fire circle where someone hands you a flashlight, a s'more, and a soft reminder that you are loved exactly as you are.
A queer collective of artists, healers, performers, and free spirits who see you not as “too much” — but as medicine.
If you’ve never felt like you belonged — you’re not broken.
The spaces were.
But this space? This space was built for you.
Come cry with us.
Come laugh until your ribs hurt.
Come fall in love — with strangers, with yourself, with the life you thought you weren’t allowed to want.
Come take up space, not just because you're allowed to, but because this world needs what you carry.
Don't forget, we also have a magical healing retreat happening alongside Stargaze this year if you are craving something deeper and would like to dive deeper into healing your wounds.
🎟️ Tickets are available now for Stargaze Festival.
Come find your place — or make one.
We can’t wait to meet you under the stars.
With all our love,
Your Stargaze Family 🏳️🌈✨
